Last Sunday I had to go make an announcement at church in YW. I caught the tail end of their lesson on keeping a personal history. To be honest, it is the first "lesson" I have heard in the past 2 years....literally! With 2 kids, church usually involves pacing the hallways or sitting on the nursery floor trying to convince Elliot that he will be okay if I leave. Anyways. The lesson made me realize just how important it is to keep a personal history for my posterity. I've decided to add what Andrew and I have been doing during the month as well. The teacher recommended having your blog printed into books for each of your kids. What a great idea, right?
Oliver - 5 Months Old
* Continues to be the best baby ever!
* Sleeps like a champ and when he wakes up he doesn't even cry, he just smiles.
* Can roll over from front to back and back to front.
* He is starting to like playing with toys.
* He puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. He loves his binky and fingers.
* He's not so sure about baby food or rice cereal. He prefers the liquid goods.
Elliot - 2 Years/2 Months
* He now attends preschool twice a week at The Kindering Center in Bellevue. It is an amazing program! There are about 14 kids in his class as well as a special education teacher, speech therapist, occupational therapist, and multiple teacher aids. After "cool" on Thursday, he has an extra half an hour of speech therapy. He loves wearing his backpack so much that he wore it through his entire preschool class on Thursday. Elliot is still learning to be obedient and follow the routine at school, but Andrew and I both feel like it is going to be so good for him!
* He continues to crash and roll everything he rides like he sees the riders do on "On Any Sunday".
* Loves taking nature walks on his own, especially to the storm water pond by our house. He absolutely loves throwing rocks into the pond, but unfortunately he also likes to go swimming in the murky water.
* He has an obsession with walking with his hands in his pockets.
* He continues to be very charming and funny. When we were at the mall the other day I heard this lady look down at Elliot and say, "What a flirt!" He already has a way with the girls.
* He is obsessed with his Uncle "Bice". Anytime I mention we are going to Motorcycle Grandma's house, he says, "Bice, Bice, Bice...." We are working on teaching him how to say Angelita, but unfortunately I think it will be a while before he masters that one.
* He likes to sing...especially in the car.
* His speech is finally coming along. Words he is currently using: mom, dad, Bryce, papa, juice, crash, car, thank you, please, shoes, coat, no, bye, baby, show, jo-jo, Katie, wash, help.
Andrew & Emily - Toooooo Old
* Andrew continues to be really busy with his business, Moulton Maintenance Solutions.
* He continues to be the best dad in the whole world. Honestly, he could be a rockin' full time stay-at-home dad. He is amazing!
* Andrew is currently serving as our Ward Clerk over membership. He does a great job balancing his family, church, and work responsibilities.
* Andrew is climbing Mt. Rainier this weekend with his friend from high school. They have climbed it together the past few summers. It stresses me out, but he loves it.
* I am counting down the last days of school (17 left). I can't wait to stay home with my boys full time!
* We went to the Beverly Sand Dunes last weekend with Scott, Britney and their kids. We had a great time riding motorcycles and 4-wheelers.

I'm glad that Elliot can say Katie. Smart kid.
You are exactly right about keeping your blog as a journal.
I love to hear about your two little guys and all their accomplishments and talents. Thanks for adding in about you and Andrew. You are wonderful parents and are doing such a great job in keeping the family, church and work all going in a forward stride.
Maybe Elliot could try "Lita" for Angelita. I'm looking forward to seeing you all and having some fun visits. Good luck with the last 17 days of "cool". They can be very stressful, I know. Glad I'm past the work, but miss the kids and the coworkers.
I loved the update. I'm excited to have your boys over tomorrow.
The day I actually make my blog into a book will be a miracle. Every post makes me further and further behind. I'm jel about your summer off!
