Meet the Blob

We found out at the 20 week ultra sound that our little man had cysts on his brain. They gave us the option of going to Maternal Fetal Medicine, but we opted out. My doctor did want to do a 32 week ultra sound to make sure everything was looking okay. We were able to get a 3D without paying a penny! We were so excited until baby Moulton decided to be very difficult. He obviously doesn't like getting his picture taken. We did find out that the cysts are gone! We also learned he continues to grow VERY long and is quite large (5 pounds already)! I think we might be having a giant. And yes, they confirmed again he is indeed a boy. They kept referring to his "turtle"....interesting.

Valentine's Room & Baby Room

Andrew at Fort Ebey

The cute little kitchen

The "backyard" of our cottage

For Valentine's Day Andrew surprised me and took me to Coupeville on Whidbey Island for a night away. We stayed in an adorable little cottage at Garden Isle. We had a great time relaxing (and enjoying their cable television...I couldn't have been happier when I realized they had TLC...oh how I love TLC!), and exploring the island! Of course we found every thrift store on the island and just had to stop at each one.

So we went over to our friend's house the other day to check out their baby room. It was darling! On the way home Andrew couldn't stop talking about how we HAD to get going on the room. He was worried our little man was going to be depressed in the room we have for him. Funny that Andrew would be the one worried about the decorating, don't you think? Andrew set to work and made the most adorable wooden airplane and helicopter all from scratch. He is one talented guy I tell ya! I copied his idea and painted a small mural on the wall. It's not finished yet, but here is what we have so far....

30 Weeks and Counting

I'm not sure where 10 more weeks of baby growth is going to go....I'm gigantic! As one of the students at my school said, "Mrs. Moulton, you're getting a little bit too much fat."
