Valentine's Room & Baby Room

Andrew at Fort Ebey

The cute little kitchen

The "backyard" of our cottage

For Valentine's Day Andrew surprised me and took me to Coupeville on Whidbey Island for a night away. We stayed in an adorable little cottage at Garden Isle. We had a great time relaxing (and enjoying their cable television...I couldn't have been happier when I realized they had TLC...oh how I love TLC!), and exploring the island! Of course we found every thrift store on the island and just had to stop at each one.

So we went over to our friend's house the other day to check out their baby room. It was darling! On the way home Andrew couldn't stop talking about how we HAD to get going on the room. He was worried our little man was going to be depressed in the room we have for him. Funny that Andrew would be the one worried about the decorating, don't you think? Andrew set to work and made the most adorable wooden airplane and helicopter all from scratch. He is one talented guy I tell ya! I copied his idea and painted a small mural on the wall. It's not finished yet, but here is what we have so far....

So glad to know the cysts are bon voyage. Your belly is the cutest thing I'v ever seen in my life. Props to Andrew for the fabulous surprise get-away. The place looks so fun! Baby Moulton will be long and lean, no doubt about that. Maybe he could break a record. I'll look it up.
