Yesterday I got my first motorcycle helmet....pink with silver flames. It is fabulous! Today Andrew and I decided it would be good idea to go for a little joy ride. (let me share some valuable information with you....it snowed yesterday here in Seattle). We decided we would ride to Scott and Britney's house to help them pack and say hello. About 3 minutes into our joy ride it started hailing. The hail was pelting our faces so hard that I could have sworn I had lesions all over my face. Luckily we made it to Scott and Britney's house in one piece. We played for a while and then decided it was time to make our journey back to Redmond Ridge. It was sunny out, so we figured this ride would be much more enjoyable. Oh boy were we mistaken! Same story second verse. Hail, snow, rain, you name it, it hit our freezing cold bodies. We were so wet by the time we got home that we looked like we had been standing in the shower in our clothes. It was so cold I couldn't feel my legs, and thus could barely walk to our house from the motorcycle. I was laughing so hard, but nearly crying from pain. Poor Andrew had to drive with one hand on his handlebars and the other blocking his face from the pelting hail, snow, and rain.

I would say that sounds like hell...but these days a nice toasty fire sounds pretty good doesn't it. ;)
