February..Better Late Than Never, Right?

February has really gotten away from me.  I can't believe it is already the 23rd and February isn't really helping me out considering there are only 28 days in the month.  With no further ado....

Ollie....
* He is a full blown walker.  I call him my little nomad.  He just wanders around the house getting into everything!  He is so quiet, yet so destructive.  Elliot was always wild, but never this inquisitive and destructive.  Yesterday he came around the corner clanging two glasses from my set of china, which by the way has never been used.  Yes, we've been married for 5 years and it has yet to be used.
* He loves to wrestle with Elliot.  It always starts out as a sweet hug, but turns into WWF baby style.
* He loves to be outside.  Just like Elliot, he cries and cries when we have to come in from riding bikes or playing at the park.
* He is still a little peanut.  We still have him in his infant carrier and he doesn't even look that big in it!
* I thought he only had his 2 front teeth until yesterday when he was screaming and I noticed that his two molars are in!  Wonder when that happened?  Parent of the year right here.  I am a little concerned that he has his two front teeth and back two molars.  I'm pretty sure he should probably have his two bottom teeth before the monster molars come in.  Maybe I should go back to saving for dentures again....

Elliot.....
* He is not only riding his bike alone with no training wheels, but is now insisting on going down gigantic hills.  I literally almost had a heart attack today when he went flying down the gravel hill by our house with my pink motorcycle helmet on and goggles.  Historically I have had REALLY low blood pressure, but I'm pretty sure Elliot is going to change that single handily for me.
* He still loves playing Legos.  He will spend all day manipulating his Lego people.  His fine motor skills are pretty amazing for his age.
* The other day we were walking out the door and I told him to go ahead.  He said, "No mommy go first I a gentleman".  We have no idea where he learns these things!  We asked him in the car what a gentleman was and he told us that a gentleman holds doors and lets mommies go first.  Love him.
* He is a true boy.  He now says "poop" all the time and laughs.  I swear it's innate.
* He loves to dress himself.  His outfits are becoming increasingly more interesting.  "I do it myself" is what we hear all day long.

Family news...
* We sold our condo!  We decided to list our condo a few weeks ago thinking it would take a while to sell.  There was an open house last Sunday and we got an offer that night!  They offered full price and didn't ask for closing costs.  We feel so lucky, but are now scrambling to figure out what we are going to do.  Andrew is convinced we just need to buy an RV.  No comment.
* We went to the Great Wolf Lodge with our friends Whitney and Craig last weekend.  We had a great time and the boys LOVED the water park.  Elliot loved going down the slides all by himself and was a big fan of the wave pool.  Ollie took a little longer to warm up the whole idea, but he loved it by the end as well.
* I would post pictures, but our camera is in a box somewhere.  We had to do just a "little" dejunking before the open house which resulted in throwing everything into boxes frantically.

Here's the link if you want to see our condo....

So exciting that your condo sold so quickly. What a blessing! Thanks for sharing some of the happenings in your life this month. You definitely keep BUSY. Hope things go well with the move. An RV might work for a few months, especially during the summer. Good Luck!
